Ghost Suspense, Paranormal Mystery, Crime Fiction
Genres:
Bio:
Fascinated by ghost stories and crime fiction, H.P. Bayne has been writing both for most of her life. Her paranormal mystery novels featuring Sullivan Gray—a young man who sees the ghosts of homicide victims—draw heavily on the two decades H.P. spent as a newspaper crime reporter. The seven books in the Sullivan Gray Series were successful enough that by 2022, H.P. left the journalism world to live her lifelong dream of being a full-time author.
Featuring character-driven stories as well as paranormal chills, H.P.’s novels focus on themes of family, justice and confronting fear and trauma. Following the completion of the Sullivan Gray Series, her readers made it clear they wanted more of Sully and his brother, Dez, so H.P. went on to publish numerous novels in the ongoing follow-up series, The Braddock & Gray Case Files. She’s also launched series featuring characters introduced in the Case Files—Wray Mallory and Tracker Jack Winter.
H.P. lives in Saskatchewan, Canada, where she gets to write in the beautiful countryside—during the non-freezing months, of course. (In the winter, she’s tucked in her room with a mug of tea and her laptop.) She enjoys reading, art, travel and spending time with family, friends and her quirky cat, Albus.
