Jack Silkstone

Jack Silkstone grew up on a steady diet of Tom Clancy, James Bond, Jason Bourne, Commando comics, and the original first-person shooters Wolfenstein and Doom. His background includes a career in military intelligence and special operations, working alongside some of the world's most elite units. He's jumped out of planes, fast-roped out of helicopters, patrolled jungle borders, trained Indigenous forces, coordinated high-risk operations, and had his heart broken—all while consuming enough caffeine to fuel a small nation.

Jack now resides on the South Island of New Zealand, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and rugged valleys. In this alpine paradise, he snowboards, hunts, drinks coffee, lifts weights, fights fires, raises a few animals, and hikes. It also provides the perfect environment for his creativity and imagination to run wild.

His love of action-adventure stories, military background, and real-world experiences have combined to inspire the no-holds-barred PRIMAL series. With a total of 12 books in the series (and counting), it’s proven to be a hit with fans of the action thriller genre. And while action is his forte, he’s also dabbled in military romance with his hugely popular SEAL series.
