Jilleen Dolbeare

Jilleen Dolbeare was a writer of urban fantasy and paranormal women’s fiction. She loved stories with strong women, adventure, and humor, combined with a dash of myth and folklore.

While living in the Arctic, she learned to keep her stakes sharp for the 67 days of night. She talked to the ravens that followed her on long walks with her cats in their stroller, and she learned how to keep the wolves at bay.

Jilleen lived with her husband and two hungry cats in Alaska, where she also discovered her love and admiration for Alaska Native peoples and their folklore.

Jilleen passed away in October 2025. Vinci Books is proud to continue publishing her books on behalf of her family, and her many fans.
