Bio:
Finn Óg lives in Ireland, surrounded by rogues and the sea. A previous career took him to the places featured in his novels, allowing him to draw upon real events or direct experience.
He spends most of his time on the water, often with the 'real' Isla, upon whom swathes of his novels are based. The series can be read in any order. His first novel 'Charlie' has recently become surprisingly relevant beginning, as it does, in Gaza. Informed by Finn's time working in the middle east his second novel, 'The Sea and the Sand', ranges from Dublin to Libya. The third, 'Too Close to Home', is set in his native Northern Ireland, but with a Venetian twist. Book four has its roots in Dublin, during lockdown. 'The Arabian Extraction' is also based on real events and will launch in early 2025.
Readers comment on the gritty realism of the novels, and often remark on an unusually fast writing style. Finn is a pen name and away from writing he's a commercial skipper and award-winning exec across factual, drama and comedy content for an international broadcaster.
