Bio:
HN Wake spent two decades across Africa, Asia, and Europe, working first with the US State Department and then with a global bank. Her expertise in human rights, democracy, and sustainability gave her a front-row seat to some of the world’s most significant complexities.
In the early 2000s, Wake returned to the States to further her career. It was during those early mornings before the sun rose that she first attempted to write and, over time, discovered a powerful release for her demons.
Her books are marked by snappy dialogue, relatable characters, and razor-sharp research. Critics rave that her savvy, fast-paced thrillers resonate with a healthy dose of zeitgeist and feel as if they have been ripped straight from the headlines.
When she’s not crafting edge-of-your-seat narratives, HN Wake is off traveling, sailing, or scuba diving—with many of her adventures sneaking into her plots. She currently calls the East Coast home, sharing life with her husband and their Tasmanian devil dog.
