Joan Fallon

Born in Dumfries, of Irish and Scottish parents, Joan has been living in Spain for the last twenty-eight years. A history graduate, turned teacher, and later a management trainer, she is now a writer and novelist. Her work encompasses both historical fiction, contemporary women’s fiction and non-fiction. Recently she started writing a crime series, locating her protagonist in present-day Málaga.
Joan is a member of the Society of Authors and the Crime Writers Association. When she is not at her computer, she is exercising her dog or coaching her grandson to play golf.
