We thriller lovers are always looking for trouble! I hope you'll join me in my literary adventures around the world.
I'm John Hopton. I'm from Yorkshire, UK, and now living in Japan. I write the kind of books I love to read: fast-paced thrillers that take readers on an international escapade. I have had lots of wonderful feedback from readers on previous books, and I really appreciate all of it.
Along with international thrillers, I also wrote a travelogue. Travelling to places like India, the Middle East, Zambia, East Asia, and Brazil has given me plenty of first-hand experience to work into my novels.
Along with my long-running Chris Collins CIA Thriller series, I am embarking on a new project: Tropical Airbourne Adventures starring Nora "Sierra" Byrd - a misanthropic pilot with a decorated Air Force career who now just wants peace and quiet to fix up her planes. But trouble always seems to find her. Serious trouble... I look forward to our literary travels together!
