Lyle Nicholson

Lyle Nicholson is the author of the Callahan Detective Mysteries, following a hard-driving female detective with the RCMP Serious Crimes Division in Northern Canada. The crimes push the boundaries of the surreal and Detective Callahan’s instincts are pushed to the brink as she tries to solve cases with numerous twists and turns.

He did not start his writing career until he retired from his marketing agency in Canada. After many years of traveling to the high Arctic of Canada and Alaska with numerous trips overseas selling to the Oil Industry, he retired to write the stories that had been brewing in his brain over the years. His first book, Polar Bear Dawn, brings two detectives together, one in Alaska and one in Canada, to solve multiple unexplained deaths in the high Arctic and Canada's frozen North.

He lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada with his lovely wife of many years where he indulges in his passion for writing, cooking, and fine wines.
