I’m Tom Fowler, USA Today bestselling author of mysteries and thrillers with action, snark, and flawed heroes. Just like you, I’ve been a longtime lover of books that keep me reading past my bedtime. 
I wrote my first “murder mystery” around age eight—a dubious addition to the genre due to the lack of an actual killing. (In my defense, I was eight.) These days, you’ll find no one is safe on the pages of my books, and the circumstances surrounding their demise or disappearance will always keep you on your toes. 
Born and raised in Baltimore, I still live in Maryland, and my home city is the setting for my novels—you could say I know all its secrets. When I’m not writing, I’m a husband, dad, and computer security specialist, which means I pay experts like John Tyler to fix my car.
